Requirements for Renting

Holding Deposit

If you wish to take an RK Accommodation property we require a holding deposit of £200.00 to remove the property from the marketplace. In essence this is confirming legally that you wish to take up occupation of the property on credit approval. This deposit is non refundable if you change your mind however, if you have supplied all requested credit referencing information and fail the credit check your £200.00 is fully refunded to you with NO deductions.

Administration Fee

We require an administration fee (if we manage and ONLY if we manage to find you a suitable property) to prepare all relevant documentation for your tenancy.

Credit Reference

To conduct a credit check there is a fee of £30.00. The documents we require are:

  • Completion of the RK Accommodation Registration form.
  • Your last three months bank statements (current) – where your salary is paid into.
  • Your last three months pay slips.
  • Some form of colour ID such as driving license, passport, ID card.
  • Work reference.

At RK Accommodation we appreciate the tenant as an individual therefore credit referencing can be altered to reflect the individual, so if you are self employed, a trainee nurse or have just got a new employer we can still work with you to find you a new home!!

 

Deposit

We require one month rent as a deposit. This is protected for the length of your tenancy by an independent company. We currently protect all of our deposits with MyDeposits.

Rent

One month rent is payable in advance. Once approval has occurred, a date would be set and the balance of the funds would be paid in cash or bankers draft when you take possession of the property.
